Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Decklyn, operated by Decklyn Inc. ("Decklyn", "we", "us"), a Delaware corporation headquartered at 2 Embarcadero Center, Suite 1420, San Francisco, CA 94111. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use Decklyn.

Decklyn is an AI presentation tool. You give it a topic and an audience, and it writes the slides, generates a visual for each slide, and narrates the whole deck in a real voice. The output is a starting draft for you to review, edit, and present.

Decklyn drafts from the topic you describe. It does not verify facts, citations, or statistics. Everything it produces should be reviewed before you present it publicly. Decklyn does not guarantee the accuracy of any content it generates.

Decklyn is not a research tool, a fact-checking service, a certified course, or any form of professional advice. Nothing it produces constitutes a verified factual account of any subject.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep it current. You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their consent.

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, with reasonable notice where practicable.

Decklyn offers three plans, all priced in US dollars:

• Free: three decks per month, each with written slides, a generated visual per slide, and a professional AI voiceover. Exports carry a small Decklyn watermark. No credit card required.
• Pro: $15.00 per month (or $150.00 per year, billed once). Unlimited decks, no watermark, your brand colors and tone, all narration voices, and full export.
• Team: $39.00 per seat per month (or $390.00 per seat per year, billed once). Everything in Pro, plus seats for your whole team, a shared brand kit, and priority generation.

Annual plans bill at ten months, giving you two months free. Prices are shown in US dollars at checkout and on the Pricing page.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. You may cancel at any time from Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you are not charged for the next period after cancellation.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at support@getdecklyn.com and we will review it promptly.

We may change prices with reasonable advance notice. If a price increase applies to your plan, we will notify you before the next renewal and you may cancel if you do not wish to continue at the new price.

You may use Decklyn only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use Decklyn to generate content designed to harass, threaten, deceive, or harm another person.
• Use Decklyn to produce fraudulent, misleading, or illegal content.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, extract, or reproduce Decklyn's AI prompts, models, or underlying systems.
• Introduce malicious code, perform denial-of-service attacks, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to Decklyn's systems.
• Share your account credentials or allow another person to use your account.
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these restrictions.

You own the decks Decklyn helps you create. We do not claim ownership over your content.

You grant Decklyn a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the service to you. We do not use your individual deck content to train AI models or to share with other users.

You can export or permanently delete your content from Settings at any time.

Decklyn and its content, software, design, and branding are owned by Decklyn Inc. or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from Decklyn's content, design, or systems without our written permission.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the Decklyn name, logo, or trademarks.

Decklyn is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Decklyn Inc. disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that Decklyn will be uninterrupted or error-free. The content it generates is a draft to review, not a verified account of any subject. Decklyn makes no guarantee that generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Decklyn Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Decklyn will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose or (b) $100 USD.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability exclusions or caps, so some of the above may not apply to you.

You may stop using Decklyn and close your account at any time from Settings.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with notice where practicable. We may also terminate the service itself, in which case we will give you reasonable advance notice and the ability to export your data.

On termination, your right to use Decklyn ends. Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and governing law survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware or San Francisco County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

Before bringing any formal claim, please contact us at legal@getdecklyn.com and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email and by posting the updated Terms with a new effective date. If the changes are material, we will give you reasonable notice before they take effect. Continued use of Decklyn after the update means you accept the revised Terms.
